FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State University’s Sept. 27 football game with the Cal Bears has been set for 4:00 p.m. MT. Cal officials made the announcement Wednesday.
This is the final game time to have been set for the Rams as they open the fall season Aug. 31 against in-state rival Colorado.
This game will be televised in northern California by Comcast Sports Net West.
Unfortunately, the game is not expected to be available on television to viewers in Colorado. CSU fans wishing to catch the game can tune into the Colorado State Sports Network on flagship station KLZ 560 AM in Denver to hear live radio coverage.
Following the season-opener against CU in the Qwest Rocky Mountain Showdown at INVESCO Field at Mile High, the Rams return home to Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium for a pair of home dates with Sacrament State (Sept. 6) and Houston (Sept. 20) before heading to Memorial Stadium in Berkeley, Calif. to take on the Bears for the second consecutive season. Last season Colorado State rallied late, but fell just short to then No. 10-ranked Cal, 34-28, at Hughes Stadium.
