Season-ticket holders invited to participate in referral contest

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State season-ticket holders are invited to help grow the Rams’ fan base in exchange for prizes, in a unique contest that begins this week, the athletic department announced Wednesday.
CSU season-ticket holders who refer the most new season-ticket holders can win one of three awards per sport, in both football and volleyball.
Football details
- Contest runs Aug. 1- 29.
- Prizes for the most referrals: First place – Trip for two on chartered bus to Colorado Springs for the Nov. 8 game at Air Force. Package includes two tickets. Second place – Two sideline passes to a select CSU home football game (due to NCAA and institutional rules, kids in grades 9-12 and ages 12 and under cannot use sideline passes). Third place – One authentic CSU Russell sideline polo shirt.
- What’s more, anyone that refers five or more new season-ticket holders will receive a $15 discount on their 2009 football season-ticket invoice.
Volleyball details
- Contest runs July 31-Sept. 12.
- Contest includes volleyball season tickets as well as mini-plans.
- Season-ticket referrals count for 2 points, while mini-plans count for 1 point.
- Prizes for the highest point totals: First place – Trip for two on the team bus to Greeley for the Oct. 7 match at Northern Colorado. Includes two tickets. Second place – Volleyball autographed by Head Coach Tom Hilbert. Third place – One official CSU Volleyball Asics polo shirt.
- Plus, those who finish in the top 10 will be invited to a special dinner with Hilbert and the rest of the volleyball coaching staff.
When purchasing new season tickets, customers should state the name of the person who referred them. To allow the athletic department to fairly track referrals, only phone and walk-up orders will be considered for the contest. Online referrals, or referrals made before the contest begins, aren’t eligible, unfortunately.
Winners will be notified by phone or e-mail one week after the end of each contest.
