FORT COLLINS, Colo.- The Rams wrapped up a closed practice Thursday afternoon at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium.

The offense defeated the defense, 15-5, in the 15-play live period, which turned out to be an intense 10 minutes. Both sides of the ball showed emotion that the coaches haven't seen yet this fall camp.

Big plays: Senior Grant Stucker hit Rashaun Greer on a short route, before Greer took it 64 yards to the end zone, providing the offense with their first points of the scrimmage.

Near the end of the 10-minute battle, Stucker threw a dump pass to tight end Broderick Sargent, who sprinted down the sideline 60 yards for a score.

During seven-on-seven drills, freshman linebacker Chris Gipson intercepted a tipped pass.
Stucker's most impressive play of the day came when he read the defense's blitz and quickly checked down to Leonard Mason, who was coming out of the backfield. Mason then made a couple defenders miss on his way to a 14-yard touchdown.
