FORT COLLINS, Colo. – CSU football and volleyball schedule posters are now available free to the public.

The posters can be picked up at the McGraw Athletic Center or the CSU Bookstore, located in the Lory Student Center. Posters will also be available to everyone at all CSU athletics events as well as to the fans out of area via mailing tube with pre-paid postage. Details are available here.

The posters have been designed to capture the new slogan “Defend the Fort,” which was created by CSU athletics. Each poster represents a rally cry for CSU athletics to defend Ram pride.  The slogan is also a rally cry for Rams fans to defend that pride and to get to the games/matches to provide a home-court and home-field advantage for the student-athletes.

The football poster features this season’s senior class with Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium in the background, with action shots of senior safety Klint Kubiak and preseason all-conference selection Rashaun Greer. The volleyball poster features the entire team with the focus of getting back its Mountain West Conference title. The poster also highlights the volleyball program’s unprecedented success with 14 consecutive NCAA appearances, 14 straight 20-win seasons, 10 MWC championships, a 170-21 record at Moby under Head Coach Tom Hilbert and their top 10 finish in the nation in volleyball attendance.

Making CSU visible
To go along with the schedule posters, CSU athletics also plans to unveil several marketing pieces throughout Northern Colorado and Denver in the coming weeks. Some of the pieces include bus shelters featuring members of the football team, billboards featuring members of the football team, lamp pole banners and a TV commercial featuring head football coach Steve Fairchild, head basketball coach Tim Miles, head women’s basketball coach Kristen Holt and Hilbert. CSU athletics has also teamed up with Comcast to feature a new CSU “on demand” channel on Comcast’s On Demand lineup.
