RENO, Nev. - Pete Thomas finished 23 of 36 for 194 yards and Colorado State had two field goals as it fell to future Mountain West Conference foe Nevada 51-6 on Saturday night.

Nevada's Colin Kaepernick had 402 yards of total offense, rushing for two touchdowns and passing for two others.

Kaepernick had 11 carries for 161 yards and hit 21 of 29 passes for 241 yards before being pulled early in the fourth quarter with the Wolf Pack leading 44-6.

Nevada (2-0), which will move from the WAC to the Mountain West next season, had 631 yards of total offense and scored on every offensive possession.

Thomas was sacked five times and intercepted once.
