FORT COLLINS, Colo. – When Anquan Boldin set an NFL rookie record with 101 receptions in 2003, earning the league’s Offensive Rookie of the Year honors and landing in Hawaii as the only rookie at the Pro Bowl, his position coach was Tyke Tolbert.

Now, the longtime college and NFL coach has moved to Colorado to coach Eddie Royal and the Denver Broncos wide receivers under new head coach John Fox. And Tolbert will serve as the keynote speaker April 9 at the annual Colorado State football coaches clinic in Fort Collins.

Tolbert, in his ninth NFL season, also coached with the Buffalo Bills (2004-09) before coming to Denver. He’ll join the CSU staff in sharing their expertise with coaches from every level at the clinic, which also includes exclusive access to the Rams’ spring practice that morning at Sonny Lubick Field at Hughes Stadium, lunch and an evening social.

Cost of the clinic is just $15.

Those coaches interested in attending the clinic are asked to please RSVP to associate head coach Larry Lewis (larry.lewis@colostate.edu) or director of football operations Tom Ehlers (thomas.ehlers@colostate.edu). Coaches can register by completing the form in advance. Coaches also can register the day of the event.
