FORT COLLINS, Colo. - Jim McElwain opens his first spring as CSU head football coach in less than three weeks, and injury-depleted depth on the lines is a concern.
McElwain knows there are solid candidates among CSU's 26,735 enrollment, and he's looking for 4-6 individuals that can add depth to the Rams' line during spring practice.
The Rams aren't necessarily looking for a minimum size or weight. They're simply looking for bigger players that can demonstrate toughness and relentlessness on the football field.
On Monday at 5 p.m. in the McGraw Athletic Center, in the Adolph Coors Foundation Auditorium on the first floor, CSU will hold a meeting for interested players. Those interested should bring their student ID.
