  • No. 7 Colorado State improved to 18-1 on the year, and 6-0 in the Mountain West play, with a sweep over Fresno State (25-15, 25-7, 25-17). The Rams are the first team in the nation to 18 wins.
  • Since its only loss, to No. 4 Wisconsin on Sept. 6, CSU has now won 13-straight matches, tied for the sixth-longest winning streak in program history.
  • CSU improved to 9-9 all-time against Fresno State, and have now won four straight over the Bulldogs. Under Head Coach Tom Hilbert, CSU is now 5-1 all-time against Fresno State.
  • Additionally, CSU has now swept Fresno State in four consecutive matches.
  • CSU is 6-0 in Mountain West action for the fifth time in the past seven seasons. The Rams are the only unbeaten team in the conference.
  • CSU improved to 8-1 at home on the year. The Rams are 48-4 at Moby Arena since the start of the 2011 season, putting them fourth in the nation in home winning percentage during that period.
  • CSU's defense was the story of the match, as the Rams held the Bulldogs to .000 hitting. It’s the lowest an opponent has hit against CSU since Wyoming hit -.028 against CSU on Oct. 5, 2012. The Bulldogs hit in negatives during both sets 1 and 2.
  • Saturday marked the fifth time that an opponent has been held to under .100 hitting in a match this season, and the first time since CSU held UTEP to .083 hitting on Sept. 13, 2014.
  • CSU held Fresno State to just seven points in the second frame, marking the first time this year that an opponent has been held to single digits in a set. The seven points in a set are the lowest by a CSU opponent since Boise State was held to seven points on Nov. 17, 2013 in Boise.
  • In that second set, CSU was also a perfect seven-for-seven on siding out, holding Fresno State without a single point on its serve.
  • The Rams were led offensively by junior right-side hitter Adrianna Culbert, who racked up 10 kills on .625 hitting. For the week, Culbert tallied 18 kills (3.00 kps), 23 digs (3.83 dps) and six blocks (1.00 bps) on .567 hitting.
  • Senior middle blocker Kelsey Snider also powered the Rams with seven kills as well as a season-most seven blocks, including four in the opening set. Snider also tied a career high with three service aces. For the week, Snider tallied 22 kills (3.67 kps) and 10 blocks (1.67 bps) on .559 hitting.
  • Senior setter Deedra Foss played an all-around game with five kills, 26 assists, five digs and three blocks, despite playing just part of Set 3. The five kills were a season high for Foss.
  • Freshman outside hitter Sanja Cizmic racked up five kills and a block on .500 hitting in just one set of action.
  • As a team, the Rams hit .429, committing just five attacking errors all day. CSU was not blocked in the match until midway through the third set. The Rams entered the day No. 4 nationally in hitting percentage at .299 for the season.
  • CSU out-blocked Fresno State 11.5-1.0. Four players (Snider, Culbert, Foss and Jasmine Hanna) registered at least three blocks in the match.
  • The Rams jumped out to at least a 3-0 lead in all three sets and never trailed for the duration of the match. The match also featured zero ties.
  • With large leads, Head Coach Tom Hilbert was able to play several reserves. Redshirt freshman middle blocker Jaliyah Bolden started sets 2 and 3, Cizmic started Set 3 and junior setter Crystal Young saw action in the final frame.
  • Led by junior libero Jaime Colaizzi’s 10 digs, CSU out-dug Fresno State 35-27.
