  • No. 7 Colorado State improved to 15-1 on the year with a four-set victory over UNLV (25-15, 23-25, 25-16, 25-14).
  • It was CSU's first home match in 23 days, dating back to Sept. 9. The Rams had played their past eight matches away from Moby Arena.
  • Since its only loss, to No. 4 Wisconsin on Sept. 6, CSU has won 10-straight matches.
  • CSU is 34-6 all-time against UNLV, including an 18-1 mark in Fort Collins. Dating back to 2008, CSU has won each of the previous 13 contests, including nine in a row at home.
  • Senior outside hitter Marlee Reynolds racked up a career-high 21 kills on .500 hitting, surpassing her previous best mark of 19 kills set at Pepperdine on Sept. 7, 2013. 
  • Reynolds also tied a season high with 40 attacks, committing just one error on the night.
  • Over the past six matches, dating back to a win at No. 18 Arizona State on Sept. 19, Reynolds has averaged 3.64 kills per set on .341 hitting. Prior to the ASU match, Reynolds averaged 2.96 kills per set on .196 hitting over 10 matches.
  • Reynolds has reached double figures for kills in four consecutive matches, and seven of the past nine. 
  • Senior setter Deedra Foss tallied her second double-double of the season with 49 assists and a season-best 12 digs. She also added back-to-back service aces late in Set 4. 
  • As a team, the Rams hit .354, marking the eighth time this season CSU has posted a hitting percentage of at least .300. Entering tonight, the Rams ranked No. 11 nationally in hitting percentage, at .288.
  • Making the offensive numbers even more impressive is the competition it was done against. Entering the match, UNLV ranked second in the Mountain West and No. 12 nationally, limiting its opponents to just .130 hitting.
  • CSU out-blocked UNLV, 11.0 to 9.0. UNLV entered the match fourth in the nation with 3.16 blocks per set.
  • As a team, UNLV was forced into 31 attacking errors and just .103 hitting.
  • The Rams out-dug the Rebels, 67-49, and had five players record at least nine digs.
  • Freshman middle blocker Alexandra Poletto checked into the match late in the opening set and made an instant impact. Poletto stepped onto the court with the Rams leading 20-12 and picked up each of the last five points for the Rams to take the set, 25-15. She tallied three kills and two blocks over the Rams' final five points. She played briefly again in the fourth set, teaming up with Reynolds for the match-ending block. 
  • CSU came out scorching hot in the opening set, hitting a blistering .464 (14-2-28) against UNLV. The Rams and Rebels were tied at 7-7, but CSU used a 4-0 run to take the lead.
  • CSU jumped out to leads of 10-5 and 14-5 in sets 3 and 4, never trailing.
  • The Rams lost Set 2 despite hitting a respectable .289. CSU fought off two set points before UNLV recorded a kill to win, 25-23.
  • CSU improved to 6-1 at home on the year. The Rams are 46-4 at Moby Arena since the start of the 2011 season, putting them fourth in the nation in home winning percentage over that time period.
