FORT COLLINS, Colo. – On Monday morning the Mountain West named running back Dee Hart the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week and senior kicker Jared Roberts as Mountain West Special Teams Player of the Week after Colorado State’s 31-17 victory over Colorado.

Hart, a junior of the football field but a graduate student in the classroom, rushed for 139 yards on 22 carries (6.3 avg.) and scored two touchdowns. Additionally, Hart had a team-high three receptions for 35 yards. The 139 rushing yards tie for the most on the ground among all CSU running backs in a debut. The record was set originally by Ron Harris on Sept. 14, 1974 at New Mexico.

Roberts was a perfect 4-for-4 on PATs, extending his school record to 67 consecutive PATs made, and he connected on a 52-yard field goal late in the game. The 52-yarder is tied for the second-longest of his career and falls just short of CSU’s top 10. Furthermore, it ties as the longest field goal among all FBS kickers during the first week.

This is Hart’s first weekly honor and it is Roberts’ fourth.
