Colorado State looks for its second win of the 2014 season as they travel to Boise, Idaho, to take on Boise State on Saturday, Sept. 6. Kickoff is set for 8:15 p.m. MT, and those that aren’t in attendance can watch the game nationally on ESPN2.

#TEAM
- The Rams’ 31 points last Friday vs. Colorado are the most scored in a season-opener by CSU since 2003, when they scored 35 points in a loss to the Buffs
- Dee Hart and Jared Roberts became the 68th and 69th Rams to earn MW Player of the Week honors
- The Rams have rattled off back-to-back wins over teams from the “Power 5” conferences for the fi rst time since 2002 (Colorado and Virginia)
- CSU has a chance to win 8 of its last 10 games with a win Saturday, last time they did this was at the end of 2001 to beginning of 02
- .@CSUFootball’s 12 opponents in 2014 combined to go 57-91 (.385) in 2013
- The Rams are looking to record back-to-back winning seasons for the first time since 2002-03, as CSU went 10-2 and 7-6, respectively

- In 2013, the Rams’ offensive line entered week 2 with a combined 99 starts; this year they enter with 4, the fewest in FBS
- In the fourth quarter of the Rams’ last two wins, CSU has outscored its opponent 35-7 and has outgained them 252-167
- Senior QB Garrett Grayson is one of only eight returning FBS quarterbacks who returns in 2014 as their program’s single-season passing leader
- Grayson has thrown 33 touchdowns in his career, a number that ranks ninth-most all-time at Colorado State
- Grayson became only the third CSU quarterback to defeat Colorado twice, joining Alexander Hutton and Matt Newton
- Grayson recorded his 10th-career victory last Friday vs. CU, he is the first CSU QB to register double digit victories since BVP
- Grayson has three fourth-quarter comebacks in his career, tied for the 5th-most among active FBS quarterbacks
- Dee Hart tied Ron Harris (9/14/74) for the most rushing yards (139) by a CSU running back in his debut
- Hart’s 139 rushing yards were the most by a Rams RB in a season-opener since Cecil Sapp’s 178 at Virginia (8/22/02)
- In two years at Alabama, Hart racked up 164 yards and a TD, in week 1 he rushed for 139 yards and 2 TDs
- Hart earned his first @MountainWest weekly honor after his career day vs. Colorado
- Last Friday was the first time since 2002 that @CSUFootball has had two rushers gain at least 100 yards in the same game
- WR Charles Lovett has a catch in 22 straight games in which he has played. Lovett’s last game without a catch was Nov. 19, 2011 at TCU

- The Rams’ defense featured 6 players that made their CSU debut last Friday against Colorado
- The Rams return six starters from their 2013 defense, but lose @MountainWest Defensive Player of the Year Shaquil Barrett
- .@CSUFootball returns three starting linebackers from 2013, who combined for 314 tackles, the third-most among FBS teams
- Junior linebacker Cory James is 1.5 sacks away from entering CSU’s career top 10 after only 26 games
- Senior linebacker Aaron Davis was named to the Butkus Award watch list, the first Ram named to the list since Rick Crowell in 2000
- After allowing 24 plays & 152 yds. (6.3) in the 1st qtr Fri. vs. CU, the Rams allowed just 49 for 223 yds (4.6) in qtrs. 2-4
#SPECIALTEAMS
- Lou Groza Award candidate Jared Roberts is fifth among active FBS kickers with a .882 career field goal percentage
- Roberts connected on a 52-yard fi eld goal vs. Colorado, tied for the second-longest in his career and tied for the longest among all FBS kickers in week 1
- Roberts is CSU’s career leader in fi eld goal percentage after connecting on 31-of-35 (.886) field goals
- Against Colorado, Roberts extended his school record of PATs made to 67
- Roberts was named @MountainWest Special Teams Player of the Week for the fourth time in his career, after connecting on a 52-yarder vs. Colorado
- Freshman Deionte Gaines leads the @MountainWest with a 29.0 kickoff return average
- Sophomore Hayden Hunt was one of three @MountainWest punters to blast a punt 60-plus yards
- Hunt leads the conference with an average of 54.5 yards per punt
