#NextLevelRams: NFL Update Week 10
11/18/2015 12:00:00 AM | Football
Colorado State is represented by six former Rams on current NFL rosters, and one player, Kapri Bibbs, on the Denver Broncos practice squad. Additionally, Shelley Smith spent the first 10 weeks of the season on the Denver Broncos' active roster.
Ty Sambrailo was drafted by the Denver Broncos in the second round, and started at left tackle through the preseason and first three games of the regular season before undergoing season-ending surgery, and Garrett Grayson was selected in the third round by the New Orleans Saints.
In his second year, Shaquil Barrett has become a mainstay of the Broncos defense after a tremendous preseason in which he recorded 16 tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble. After spending his rookie season at left guard, Weston Richburg of the New York Giants has returned to his natural position of starting center, and Crockett Gillmore remains a starting tight end for the Baltimore Ravens.
Kapri Bibbs, who began the season on the Denver Broncos practice squad, made his NFL debut during Week 6 against the Browns.
Below is a look at what the #NextLevelRams did during Week 10 of the NFL season:
Crockett Gillmore (Baltimore Ravens) - Tight end
Gillmore and the Ravens came up just short against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but the second-year tight end had another terrific game, pulling in four catches for 42 yards including his team-leading fourth touchdown reception of the season. The Ravens have a chance to get back on track Sunday afternoon when they host the St. Louis Rams
Weston Richburg (New York Giants) - Starting center
Richburg and the Giants lost another heartbreaker this week, losing to the undefeated Patriots, 27-26, on a last-second field goal. The offensive line had another big week, blocking the way for 422 yards of total offense, including 342 through the air. The Giants have a bye next week but will be back in action against the Redskins the following week.
Shaquil Barrett (Denver Broncos) - Outside linebacker
Barrett's second career start was much quieter than his first. He recorded one tackle in the Broncos' 29-13 loss to the Chiefs, but did record a pass defense as well as a few quarterback hurries. Barrett is expected to remain in the starting lineup until Demarcus Ware returns from injury. The Broncos take on the Chicago Bears on Sunday in Chicago.
Erik Pears (San Francisco 49ers) - Starting right tackle
The 49ers had a bye during Week 10, but take on division rival Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
Ty Sambrailo (Denver Broncos) - Offensive tackle
Ty Sambrailo remains on season-ending injured reserve due to a torn labrum he suffered Week 3 against the Detroit Lions.
Garrett Grayson (New Orleans Saints) - Backup quarterback
Garrett Grayson did not play in Sunday's loss to the Washington Redskins.
