After one of the best football seasons in Colorado State history, it's no surprise that a number of players who helped lead the 2014 Rams to a 10-3 record and a berth in the Las Vegas Bowl are generating significant interest from NFL teams.

Colorado State will hold its on-campus football Pro Day on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, at which time draft-eligible players will take part in the timing and testing process for NFL scouting and front office personnel. Last year all 32 NFL franchises sent representatives to CSU's Pro Day.

Seven members of CSU's 2014 team are expected to take part in Pro Day, including cornerback Bernard Blake, linebacker Aaron Davis, defensive lineman LaRyan King, wide receiver Charles Lovett, linebacker Max Morgan, kicker Jared Roberts and offensive lineman Ty Sambrailo.

Quarterback Garrett Grayson, the 2014 Mountain West Offensive Player of the Year, will not participate in CSU's Pro Day on March 11 to allow more time for a hamstring injury to fully heal. He will conduct his own Pro Day for NFL scouts at CSU on Monday, March 23.

Davis, Grayson, Roberts and Sambrailo participated in the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis last month, along with 2014 CSU running back Dee Hart. Colorado State's five invitations represented the most Rams players at the Combine since 1999 when seven participated. Hart is expected to take part in Pro Day on March 11 at Alabama, where he was a student-athlete from 2011-13 and earned his bachelor's degree before transferring to Colorado State in August 2014.

In addition, Grayson and Sambrailo earned invitations to the prestigious Senior Bowl in January, while Blake played in the East-West Shrine Game and Hart and Roberts took part in the College Gridiron Showcase.

Colorado State's on-campus Pro Day is the next step in the journey toward the 2015 NFL Draft, April 30-May 2 in Chicago. Round 1 will be held on Thursday, April 30 with Rounds 2-3 scheduled for May 1 and Rounds 4-7 set for May 2.

CSU is seeking to build upon last year's NFL Draft when center Weston Richburg was selected in the second round by the New York Giants and tight end Crockett Gillmore was chosen in the third round by Baltimore. In addition, linebacker Shaquil Barrett and running back Kapri Bibbs signed as undrafted free agents with the Denver Broncos. The last time three or more Rams were drafted in a two-year span was in 2004-05 when four were selected (Dexter Wynn, Bradlee Van Pelt and Andre Sommersell were drafted in 2004, and Joel Dreessen in 2005).

While significant contributors to Colorado State's success in 2014 team are now pursuing their NFL dreams, a great deal of talent returns for the Rams, who begin spring drills March 10 under first-year head coach Mike Bobo. CSU welcomes 15 returning starters on offense and defense, and a staggering 55 returning letterwinners. Among those is consensus first-team All-America wide receiver Rashard Higgins, who will be a junior, and seven others who earned some level of All-Mountain West consideration, including first-team tight end Steven Walker.

Season tickets are currently on sale starting at $20 per game and include all six home games plus the 2015 Rocky Mountain Showdown at Sports Authority Field at Mile High. Current season ticket holders have until March 31 to renew their current seats or request new seats.
