The Rams completed their final spring practice on Friday afternoon, and Saturday's annual Green and Gold Spring Game will mark the end of head coach Mike Bobo's first spring in Fort Collins.

"It's gameday," Bobo said. "When we go into that stadium, we'll treat it like a game, we'll play like a game, we'll compete like a game and I won't expect anything less."

The rosters were set on Wednesday, but Bobo said after Friday's practice that both Nick Stevens and Coleman Key will work with the first-team offense on the green squad.

"Nick is a little bit ahead but Coleman is right there," Bobo said. "He (Key) has actually been a little bit better number wise in scrimmages, but you'll see both with each team."

Festivities are set to begin at 10 a.m. at Hughes Stadium on Saturday morning. Due to rain and weather concerns, the free McDonald's breakfast, provided to the first 1,500 fans, has been pushed back to 10 a.m., and Ram Town pregame has been canceled. Following the game, players will sign autographs for fans on the field.

Spring Notebook

Defensive line coach Ricky Logo

(on defensive line changes)
"When you take a bigger body against a tight end, it plays to our advantage and that was some of the adjustments that our guys didn't understand. When you put a bigger body on a tight end, we can hold the point a lot. They see the effects of putting the bigger body out there defensively because it helps us on the tight end. The tight end can't release off the line of scrimmage when they have a big 285-pound defensive end standing in front of them. Then we are able to put some smaller guys, when it is a long-yardage situation, and be able to rush the quarterback."

(on who has stood out this spring)
"The guys that have stood out are guys like Joe Kawulok, who is coming along. Justin "Big J" Hansen is doing a really good job for us inside. Terry Jackson is another guy that is very athletic. SteveO Michel, who was a linebacker, we added more speed off the edge. Those have been the front four core going through spring practice."
