Reid named Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week

FORT COLLINS, Colo. - CSU senior outside hitter Alex Reid was named the Mountain West Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday.
Reid, a native of Aurora, Colo., joins fellow senior Adrianna Culbert as Offensive Player of the Week recipients this season.
Reid, who is playing her first season at CSU after transferring from Long Beach State, averaged 4.38 kills per set over the team's two wins this past week, and posted a career-high 21 kills in the Rams' five-set win over Boise State on Saturday. She registered 14 kills in CSU's sweep of Utah State on Thursday, posting her second-best hitting percentage of the season at .542 with only one attack error.
In addition, Reid had nine digs in each match and totaled four blocks for the week. In total, Reid only had four attack errors in 87 attempts across the two matches.
The Rams will embark on their first road trip of the Mountain West season as they play at Nevada on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. MT and San Diego State on Saturday at 3 p.m. MT.
