BOISE, Idaho – The Colorado State Rams had a busy Wednesday, their final day of prep before Thursday’s Famous Idaho Potato Bowl. The day got off to an early start as players and members of the staff visited patients at two local hospitals, an experience which many said will go down as one of the highlights of their trip.
We went into this morning thinking we were giving back, but really, these patients served us. Thanks for the stories and your time! #CSURams pic.twitter.com/kE5QZhhG8M

Following the visits, the team went straight to Boise State’s practice facility for its final practice of the 2016 season, a practice that most closely simulated the speed and intensity of the upcoming game.

Head Coach Mike Bobo, along with senior captains Kevin Davis, Nolan Peralta and Fred Zerblis, were made available to the media at the official bowl game press conference following practice. The entire press conference can be re-watched here.
Following a bit of free time, players then headed to the CSU Alumni Ram Rally where they were joined by the Colorado State marching band, cheerleaders and Golden Poms. The team had time to eat and greet with fans before heading outside for the Potato Bowl Mash Bash, a battle of the bands between the Rams and Vandals.

The Rams’ focus now shifts solely to Thursday’s big game, as they spend most of the evening in position and team meetings. Kickoff for the Famous Idaho Potato Bowl is set for 5 p.m. MT on ESPN (and ESPN3.com/WatchESPN app), and is the only college football game of the day. Follow @CSUFootball and @CSURamsGameday for in-game updates if you’re unable to tune in. Go Rams!
