DENVER, Colo. – ROOT SPORTS and the Mountain West announced Thursday its 2016 football broadcast schedule, which includes three Colorado State games.
CSU’s Orange Out vs. Northern Colorado on Sept. 17 will kick off at 2 p.m. MT and will be televised live on ROOT SPORTS. The network will also broadcast the Rams’ road contest Oct. 22 at UNLV (3:30 p.m. MT kickoff) and CSU’s home game vs. Fresno State on Nov. 5 (1:30 p.m.).
ROOT SPORTS broadcasts will be available exclusively in the Rocky Mountain region, with some matchups also available on ROOT SPORTS in the Northwest and Southwest territories. These three regions combine to reach nearly 10 million homes across 17 states.

The network also won an Emmy for its coverage of the 2014 Border War, played in Fort Collins. Several familiar faces return to the broadcasts, with Marc Stout and Drew Goodman splitting play-by-play duties and Sherdrick Bonner serving as analyst.
CSU now has 10 contests picked up for TV broadcast, including the Rocky Mountain Showdown vs. Colorado on ESPN; games vs. Wyoming, at Boise State, at Air Force and vs. New Mexico on ESPN Networks; and vs. Utah State and at San Diego State on CBS Sports Network. Remaining broadcasts will be announced in the coming weeks.
