FORT COLLINS, Colo. – The Colorado State women’s soccer program has announced that it will be hosting one final summer camp this year on July 30.
Along with many of the other top programs in the state (Denver, Northern Colorado, Air Force, Regis, Metro State and UCCS), the Rams will host a Satellite ID Camp at Battle Mountain High School from 3-7:30 p.m. for all 8-12 grade students.
The goal of the Satellite ID Camp is to provide an opportunity for female perspective student athletes to engage in a competitive, collegiate environment, whom might not otherwise be able to travel to Fort Collins, while under the direction of current collegiate soccer coaches. This one-day camp will offer instruction as well as competition. The number of campers is limited so that the campers will get the personal attention that they deserve.
Players will go through an on-field evaluation session from 3-6 p.m., and then from 6:30-7:30 p.m. there will be a question and answer session with the college coaches where players and parents can ask coaches about things such as the recruiting process.
The cost of the camp is $125 and space is limited. Players are requested to bring cleats, shin guards, proper training gear, water, a notebook and plenty of questions.
