Crystal Young took on a large role heading into the 2015 season, as Colorado State transitioned to a 6-2 offense utilizing two setters. Young went on to start every match of the season and led CSU in assists as the Rams won their seventh consecutive Mountain West title.

Young, a native of Clear Lake, Texas, averaged 6.22 assists per set, including a career-high 43 assists in three sets against Iona on Sept. 13. In a role that demanded versatility, Young registered three double-doubles, each time recording double-digit totals in assists and digs. She posted a personal-best 13 digs on two occasions.

The former NJCAA All-American (at Blinn College) also excelled at serving, recording a serve percentage of .952, tied for seventh-best all-time at CSU. She ranked fourth on the team with 18 service aces, including a pair of matches with three.

Overall, Young paired with Adrianna Culbert to provide 12.94 assists per set as a team, ranking second in the Mountain West and top-50 nationally.
