One year from today, Colorado State University's on-campus stadium is scheduled for completion, and today we get an exclusive glimpse of the incredible progress that has been made in the first eight months since major excavation began.

In the third episode of an on-going video series, Rams All-Access takes the public inside the project site to see exclusive drone footage and interviews with Mortenson Construction senior superintendent Trevor DeLong, ICON Venue Group project field manager Doug Wilson and Mortenson project engineer--and former CSU Football student-athlete--Cameron Moss, who earned his bachelor's degree in construction management.

Anticipation for the return of Rams football to the Fort Collins campus is running high, with the on-campus stadium scheduled to host its first game in September of 2017. Structural steel is reaching its highest levels on the west side of the building, which will house premium seating, club lounges, broadcast booths and the press box.

Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work continues at field level in the northwest areas that will include the Rams' locker room, weight room, athletic training room and team meeting rooms. Many sections of pre-cast stadia have been installed on the west side, giving both the lower and upper seating bowls their form.

Steel work will begin soon on the east side of the stadium, which will house the brand new Michael and Iris Smith Alumni Center, as well as classroom space and student advising offices, making the stadium a gathering place that engages and unites all aspects of the University's past, present and future.

The 41,000-capacity stadium also will retain a significant piece of CSU Football history with the transfer of the "Sonny Lubick Field" name from Hughes Stadium, thanks to a $20 million anonymous donation.

Construction progress can be viewed daily via multiple webcam angles provided on the official new stadium website at stadium.colostate.edu, as well as time-lapse motion of the progress since construction began.

The stadium website also features an immersive look at the various premium seating options currently available for sale, as well as online purchase of commemorative bricks that will be permanently placed in the north entry of the stadium.
