2016 Mountain West Football Media Days begin Tuesday

Less than two weeks from the start of fall camp, Colorado State will get its 2016 football season prep underway this week at the Mountain West Football Media Days at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas.
The two-day event begins Tuesday with CSU and the league's five other teams from the Mountain Division, and concludes Wednesday with the West Division. The Rams will be represented by second-year head coach Mike Bobo, senior linebacker Kevin Davis and senior tight end Nolan Peralta. The trio will take part in a full day of interviews from local, regional and national media, as well as the conference's television partners, previewing the 2016 season.
The Tuesday interview schedule begins at 9 a.m. MT and includes interviews with Campus Insiders, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, the Mountain West Network, ROOT Sports and Sirius/XM, in addition to promo shoots and time with teams' local TV, radio and print media representatives.
Watching MW Media Days: A live show will be produced throughout MW Media Days by the Mountain West Network. Fans can catch Davis and Peralta Tuesday from 5:35-5:45 p.m. MT. The entire show will run from 5-6:30 p.m. MT on both Tuesday and Wednesday, and will feature every team. For the first time in league history, fans will be able to participate in the live shows. Jesse Kurtz will host the shows and will be joined on set by student-athletes representing each MW institution. Stormy Buonantony will serve as reporter and will field questions from viewers tuning in to the Facebook Live broadcasts.
Additionally, Ari Wolfe and Darius Walker will be in Las Vegas to tape a show that will air on ESPN3 on Wednesday, July 27 at 3 p.m. MT, and feature Bobo on set.

Additionally, the Mountain West will feature several parts of the event on Facebook Live, in addition to announcing its 2016 predicted order of finish and preseason all-conference football honorees using Facebook Live on the MW’s official Facebook page. The league will also unveil its 2015-16 Athletes and Scholar-Athletes of the Year, which are the MW’s highest honors bestowed to its student-athletes, via Facebook Live at 9 a.m. MT on Wednesday, July 27. Both announcements will be a first of their kind utilizing the Facebook Live tool.
