FORT COLLINS, Colo. (Oct. 24, 2017) – New Belgium Brewing and Colorado State University are teaming up to raise money for a Ram family in need from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on October 26 in the Stadium Club at CSU's football stadium.
Today, $4 from every pint of beer sold during "Happy Hour on the Porch" will be donated to CSU Associate Athletic Director Doug Max and his family, who suffered an unimaginable loss recently when a fire heavily damaged their home and claimed the life of their daughter, Rachael.
"New Belgium continues to find ways to make a difference in our community," said Joe Parker, Director of Athletics. "They felt compelled to help Doug and his family in a significant moment of need and we are thankful for their support."
In addition to funds raised from the sale of beer, some select items including a New Belgium bicycle, will be raffled off as an additional way to raise money for the Max family. Those who would like to make a direct donation to the Max family can visit this gofundme.com site.
