LEXINGTON, Ky. – Colorado State sophomore setter Katie Oleksak was named to the AVCA All-Pacific North Region team, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced today. Senior outside hitter Jasmine Hanna received Honorable Mention All-Region recognition as well. The Rams have had at least one player earn All-Region accolades every year since 2007.
Oleksak, the Mountain West Player of the year, ranks eighth nationally in assists and second among all sophomores (Jenna Gray – Stanford). The Phoenix, Arizona native has been the cornerstone of the Rams' offense, leading them in assists with an 11.94 set average – first in the Mountain West.
