IRVING, Texas – Nolan Peralta, a 2016 graduate from the Colorado State football team, was recognized this week when the National Football Foundation (NFF) and College Hall of Fame announced its members of the 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society.
The NFF Hampshire Honor Society recognizes players from all divisions of play who maintained a cumulative 3.2 grade-point average or better throughout their college careers, while also playing a significant role on his respective team.
Peralta graduated in December 2016 with a 3.68 grade-point average. The four-year letterwinner from Murrieta, Calif., was a team captain in 2016, starting 12 contests at tight end. The senior recorded 11 catches for 91 yards and the first two touchdowns of his career, while often lining up as a fullback of H-back and playing a key blocking role in the Rams’ run game. He earned three National Football Foundation Academic All-Colorado honors and is a four-time Mountain West Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-Mountain West honoree.
The 2017 NFF Hampshire Honor Society includes 1,091 players from 298 schools, setting a new record. Peralta is the 14th Ram to be selected to the NFF Hampshire Honor Society, which is now in its 11th season.
