FORT COLLINS, Colo.—Single-game tickets for Colorado State's highly-anticipated 2017 football season will go on sale Monday, July 24, in a special pre-sale for CSU Alumni, faculty/staff and donors. Beginning July 26, all fans will be able to purchase single-game tickets to any of the six home games at the Rams' new on-campus stadium.
Season tickets, three-game mini-plans and tickets to the Sept. 1 Rocky Mountain Showdown against Colorado in Denver remain on sale. Fans may purchase tickets online now at www.CSURams.com/tickets, by phone at 800-491-RAMS (7267) or by visiting either the McGraw Athletic Center Ticket Office or the Ram Zone retail store in Old Town Fort Collins.
Single-game ticket pricing begins at $35 for select games, including the Rocky Mountain Showdown. For complete ticket pricing information please visit CSURams.com/tickets. Colorado State University students will receive information in early August on how to purchase their Rocky Mountain Showdown tickets online at the special student price of $20. Students do not pay for tickets to all home games at the new on-campus stadium, and will be receiving information in early August with details about claiming electronic tickets for admission through their student ID card for all home games.
Special group ticket rates and offers are also available. For fans wishing to bring large groups to a CSU home game, please contact the Ticket Office at 491-RAMS (7267) or visit www.CSURams.com/tickets.
Season tickets for Colorado State football include all six home games and the Rocky Mountain Showdown, and begin as low as $225. Mini-plans may be purchased for as low as $94 depending on the games chosen for a particular three-game plan. Packages that include the stadium grand-opening game vs. Oregon State Aug. 26 or the Rocky Mountain Showdown will be priced higher based on the single-game pricing for those contests.
The 2017 Rams, under the direction of third-year head coach Mike Bobo, return 14 starters including three 2016 All-Mountain West performers: Wide receiver Michael Gallup (first team), center Jake Bennett (second team) and quarterback Nick Stevens (honorable mention). Gallup was recently named preseason fourth-team All-America by Phil Steele and is on the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award. Bennett was named to the watch list for the 2017 Rimington Trophy and Outland Trophy, while Stevens is on the watch list for the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award. The trio also joined nine other teammates in receiving preseason All-MW recognition for 2017 by Athlon Sports.
The Rams will open their 41,000-capacity on-campus stadium Aug. 26 when Pac-12 foe Oregon State visits Fort Collins for a 12:30 p.m. kickoff. Numerous exciting special events and promotions are planned for that day to commemorate the first football game played on campus in nearly 50 years. Military Appreciation Day will highlight the inaugural game against Oregon State, with tributes and salutes to the men and women who serve and have served in our armed forces. A giant American flag that covers the entire football field will be displayed during the national anthem.
Fans also will enjoy taking part in the "Stripe the Stadium" promotion, in which they will be encouraged to wear either green or white, alternating by section, to create green and white vertical stripes throughout the stadium bowl. A gigapixel photo will be taken by Blakeway Panorama, which fans can access online to locate and tag themselves in the digital image. In addition, fans will be able to purchase a panoramic photo of the stadium in the days following the game.
The public will have their first chance to experience the new stadium on Saturday, Aug. 5, when Colorado State University hosts a Community Open House and football scrimmage. Season tickets holders will have the opportunity to pick up their tickets and visit theirs seats for the first time. Much more information on the Aug. 5 open house and game days for the 2017 football season can be found at CSURams.com/footballgameday.
