CSU will be back on the practice fields tomorrow for its third day of practice in pads of the week. The Rams will have Friday off before a closed scrimmage on Saturday at the stadium.
The CSU equipment staff raised some eyebrows in the uniform world, with Paul Lukas of UniWatch acknowledging some unique branding to go along with the Ram horn design on the team's helmets.

Opening game promotions include Military Appreciation Day, Stripe The Stadium
Colorado State's 2017 football season opener is 17 days away and fans in attendance will be able to take part in several special promotions to commemorate the first football game in the new on-campus stadium. In addition to Military Appreciation Day, fans can participate in the first Stripe the Stadium promotion at Colorado State by wearing either green or white in designated sections to create green and white vertical stripes throughout the stadium seating bowl.
The game, which kicks off at 12:30 p.m., is the first college football kickoff of the 2017 season, and will be televised to a national audience by CBS Sports Network.

The highlight of the day came at the end of practice, as redshirt junior kicker Wyatt Bryan made the most important field goal of the preseason. The stakes were high - if he made it, the team wouldn't have to run. More importantly, it would earn him a full scholarship. The result?

- Fans sitting in odd-numbered sections, plus Section 126 and the entire student section located in the east and south lower level are encouraged to wear green to the game.
