LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Colorado State volleyball team moves up three spots in this week's AVCA Coaches' Poll to No. 22 after a 3-0 week, which included sweeping then-No. 16 Michigan. The Rams started the week with a 3-1 win over Ball State on Friday, before knocking off another Top-25 opponent, then-No. 16 Michigan in straight sets. The sweep was the second of its kind this season after the Rams swept then-No. 15 Florida State on Sept. 2. CSU closed the busy weekend with a clean sheet against Idaho State to be crowned the tournament champion.

This is the second time this season that Colorado State has been ranked in the AVCA poll. The Rams were ranked at No. 25 last week, which was the first time since the first week of the 2016 season. This is the 270th week that Colorado State has been ranked.

One of Colorado State's opponents for the upcoming weekend – Colorado – is receiving 13 votes in this week's poll. Rams' "victims" Florida State and Michigan are still ranked above them at No. 20 and No. 21, respectfully.

Colorado State is the lone representative from the Mountain West Conference in the AVCA Poll.
