FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Nine former Colorado State football standouts have either signed free agent contracts or accepted rookie minicamp invitations from teams in the hours following the 2018 NFL Draft.

Five #NextLevelRams announced their destinations on Saturday -- wide receiver Detrich Clark, quarterback Nick Stevens, offensive linemen Zack Golditch and Trae Moxley and long snapper Trent Sieg -- and four more added to the list on Sunday morning: offensive linemen Jake Bennett and Nick Callender, linebacker Evan Colorito and running back Dalyn Dawkins.

Clark (Atlanta), Dawkins (Tennessee), Golditch (L.A. Chargers) and Sieg (Baltimore) announced free-agent contract signings, while Bennett (Tampa Bay), Callender (Seattle), Colorito (New Orleans), Moxley (Arizona), Nutt, Jr. (San Francisco) and Stevens (Washington) reported accepting invitations to rookie mini-camps.

Those announcements come after All-America wide receiver Michael Gallup was selected in the third round by the Dallas Cowboys on the second day of the NFL Draft.

FREE AGENT CONTRACTS

DETRICH CLARK – FALCONS
 
Clark is headed back to his home state of Georgia following a productive 2017 season at CSU. Clark totaled 41 catches for 504 yards and six touchdowns and added 40 rushing yards in 12 games played. The Eastern Arizona J.C. product also averaged 23.7 yards over 18 kickoff returns.
 
The Montezuma, Ga., native was the only Ram to record multiple TD receptions in more than one game last season (two at Hawai'i and two in the GILDAN New Mexico Bowl versus Marshall).
 
DALYN DAWKINS – TITANS

Dawkins received second-team All-MW honors last season after totaling 1,725 all-purpose yards (23rd in the FBS). He rushed for a career-high 1,399 yards (fifth-most in program history) and eight touchdowns on 226 carries. 

He finished his career ranked third on the school's career rushing list with 3,185 yards in 37 career games as a Ram.

ZACK GOLDITCH – CHARGERS
 
Golditch earned first-team All-Mountain West honors after a stalwart 2017 season. He started all 13 games, blocking for an offense that ranked 11th in the country and first in the Mountain West with 492.5 yards per game. The offensive line allowed just 1.0 sack per game, a figure that ranked fifth in the country.
 
In total, Golditch started 38 games and appeared in 43 at CSU, playing four of the five positions on the o-line. He also appeared in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl with CSU teammate Dalyn Dawkins.
 

TRENT SIEG – RAVENS
 
Sieg, a standout long snapper, played in 52 career games as a Ram. In 2015, he was the long snapper for Ray Guy Award finalist an All-America punter Hayden Hunt. He also snapped to current CSU kicker Wyatt Bryan, who ranks second in program history in field goal percentage.
 
The Eaton, Colo., native earned multiple Academic All-Mountain West honors during his career, as well.
 


ROOKIE MINICAMP INVITATIONS

JAKE BENNETT – BUCCANEERS 
 
Bennett, a first-team All-Mountain West center who participated in the East-West Shrine Game, started all 13 games in 2017 and helped lead an offense that ranked 11th in the country and first in the MW with 492.5 yards per game. The 2017 Rimington Trophy Watch List inclusion anchored an offensive line allowed just 1.0 sack per game, a figure that ranked fifth in the country.

Bennett, who earned second-team All-MW in 2016, was a four-year starter at center, which included starts in the first three games of his redshirt-freshman season in 2014 before suffering a season-ending knee injury. The native of Lakewood, Colo., who graduated from Bear Creek High School, started all 42 games in which played at Colorado State.

NICK CALLENDER – SEAHAWKS 
 
Callender, who played his senior season for Colorado State in 2016, was having a very successful Pro Day at CSU in March 2017 before suffering a torn Achilles tendon. He participated in the Rams' 2018 Pro Day and impressed scouts enough to earn a rookie minicamp invitation from the Seattle Seahawks. 

In 2016 Callender earned honorable mention All-Mountain West by vote of coaches and media after playing in all 13 games and starting 10 at left tackle. The Rams' offensive line allowed just 1.0 sack per game, a number that ranked 8th in the country. He started nine games at left tackle as a junior in 2015 and helped block for an offense that ranked third in the Mountain West with 417.0 yards per game, and was among the nation's leaders for tackles for loss allowed (4.58 per game; 12th) and sacks allowed (1.17 per game; 15th). In his career the native of Hayward, Calif., played in 37 games and started 20.

EVAN COLORITO – SAINTS 
 
Colorito started all 13 games for the Rams in 2017 and earned honorable mention All-Mountain West, recording 45 tackles, a team-high 12.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks, two forced fumbles and four quarterback hurries. His 5.5 sacks were the most by a CSU player in a single season since Joe Kawulok recorded 5.5 in 2015, Colorito recorded a sack in three consecutive games to end his CSU career.

A native of Beaverton, Ore., Colorito also started all 13 games in 2016 and recorded 63 tackles, 10.0 tackles for a loss, 2.0 sacks and a forced fumble. For his career he played in 48 games and started 26. 

TRAE MOXLEY – CARDINALS
 
Moxley, a native of Carbondale, Colo., was named honorable mention All-MW in 2017. He helped lead an offensive line that ranked fifth in the FBS in sacks allowed per game, and blocked for an offense that ranked 11th in the country and first in the Mountain West with 492.5 yards per game.
 
Overall, he appeared in 48 games in his collegiate career, making 18 starts.

KEVIN NUTT, JR. – 49ERS

Nutt, Jr., a native of Fresno, Calif., will be headed to his home state for rookie minicamp with the San Francisco 49ers. Nutt started all 13 games at cornerback for the Rams last season, recording 43 tackles, 3.0 tackles for loss, two interceptions, four pass breakups and a fumble recovery. He had two interceptions against Colorado on Sept. 1.

In his career, Nutt played in 50 games, making 24 starts. He also excelled as a kick returner, including a 96-yard TD at Fresno State as a sophomore in 2015.
 
NICK STEVENS – REDSKINS
 
Stevens is one of the most prolific quarterbacks in program history, finishing as CSU's all-time leader in passing touchdowns (70) and passing efficiency (148.7).
 
The Murrieta, Calif., native was named first-team All-MW in 2017 after leading the league in passing yards (3,799), touchdowns (29) and passing efficiency (147.9). He also had four rushing TDs.
 
The three-time All-MW honoree also played in the East-West Shrine Game with CSU teammate Jake Bennett.
