Rams and Gators will kick off at 4 p.m. ET (2 MT) on SEC Network
FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Southeastern Conference and ESPN announced today that Colorado State's Sept. 15 game at the University of Florida will kick off at 4 p.m. ET (2 p.m. MT) and will be televised by the SEC Network. With today's announcement, the Rams now have television assignments for nine of their 12 games in 2018.
CSU's visit to Gainesville will mark the Rams' first contest ever against the Gators, and the program's first game played in the state of Florida since Nov. 23, 1985 when CSU traveled to face Miami.
The Florida game will be the Rams' second in a row against an SEC foe and their first game of 2018 played outside the state of Colorado, a week after a home date with Arkansas in Fort Collins on Sept. 8. Those games follow CSU's season opener against MW foe Hawaii on Saturday, Aug. 25 and the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown against Colorado in Denver on Friday, Aug. 31.
The Rams have six games slated to be nationally televised by CBS Sports Network, two that will be broadcast by ESPN's family of networks—including a primetime matchup at Boise State on Friday, Oct. 19 at 7 p.m.—and one now on the SEC Network.
