CSU women’s soccer to hold Green & White Scrimmage, meet-and-greet on Aug. 5

Rams to make first appearance at CSU Soccer Field leading up to 2018 fall season on Aug. 5
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Fans will have an opportunity to participate in a meet-and-greet event with the Colorado State women's soccer team when the Rams hit CSU Soccer Field for the Green & White Scrimmage on Sunday, Aug. 5.
The meet-and-greet session will be held on the field immediately following the conclusion of the Green & White Scrimmage, which is scheduled for a noon MT kickoff. The members of the 2018 team will be available to sign autographs as part of the postgame meet-and-greet.
The Green & White Scrimmage marks Colorado State's first appearance at CSU Soccer Field leading up to the 2018 fall season. The intrasquad scrimmage will be contested with the same rules as an official match, with referees on hand to officiate the action. The scrimmage will last 90 minutes like regulation NCAA matches.
Following the scrimmage, the Rams will then travel for an exhibition at Kansas (Sunday, Aug. 12 – 1 p.m. CT/12 p.m. MT) and official matches at Denver (Thursday, Aug. 16 – 7 p.m. MT) and Colorado (Sunday, Aug. 19 – 3:30 p.m. MT) before hosting Northern Colorado at 4 p.m. MT on Thursday, Aug. 23.
In all, the Colorado State women's soccer team will play 11 official matches at home in 2018. The Rams, which are set to begin their sixth season in 2018, return 20 letterwinners and add seven newcomers to its roster for the upcoming fall.
