Football team to hold walk-on tryouts

Mandatory informational meeting scheduled for Aug. 20

The Colorado State football program is looking to enlist the help of talented CSU students as walk-on players.

An informational meeting for students interested in walking on to the football team will be held Monday, Aug. 20 at 4 p.m. MT. The meeting will be held at Canvas Stadium, and students can enter via the northwest entrance, next to the RamZone store.
 
Prospective walk-ons must meet the following requirements:
  • Have graduated high school in the last 5 years
  • Currently enrolled full time at CSU
  • Holds a minimum institutional GPA of 2.30
  • No classes between 2-6 p.m. Monday - Friday
Please bring the following items to the informational meeting:
  • Copy of insurance card
  • Copy of unofficial transcript
  • Physical, including sickle cell screening
More information regarding requirements and actual tryout date will be shared at the meeting on August 20th.
