Rams practice under the lights

Just 10 days removed from the first game of the 2018 season, the Colorado State Rams held their first night practice of fall camp, going to work under the lights at Canvas Stadium this evening.

The CSU community also received an update directly from head coach Mike Bobo regarding his health and status. Bobo is getting treated for peripheral neuropathy, but is continuing his preparation for the season opener against Hawai'i from his hospital room.

Yesterday, the Rams had another player receive watch list recognition, as K.J. Carta Samuels was added to the 2018 Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award watch list. The award is given annually to the nation's top college quarterback.

Colorado State 2018 Watch List honorees (as of Aug. 15)
Izzy Matthews – Doak Walker Award (nation's top collegiate running back)
Adam Prentice – Allstate Good Works Team nominee; Wuerffel Trophy
Cameron Butler – John Mackey Award (nation's most outstanding tight end)
Wyatt Bryan – Lou Groza Award (nation's top collegiate placekicker)
Ryan Stonehouse – Ray Guy Award (nation's top collegiate punter)
K.J. Carta-Samuels – Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award (nation's top college quarterback)

There may only be 10 days remaining until the season begins, but there is still time to purchase CSU football tickets. Single-game tickets, as well as three-game mini-plans and season tickets, are available by calling 1-800-491-RAMS or by visiting CSURams.com/tickets.
