THE WEEK
• Colorado State will continue Mountain West Conference action this week, traveling to California to face San Diego State and Fresno State.
• The Rams will take on the Aztecs on Thursday night starting at 7 p.m. MT before heading to Fresno State for a Saturday afternoon match at 2 p.m. MT.
• Both matches will be broadcast on the Mountain West Network.
 
OPPONENTS AT A QUICK GLANCE
• San Diego State began Mountain West Conference play last week with two losses against Fresno State and Air Force.
• The Aztecs are 1-13 overall with their lone win against Seattle U in the second match of the season.
• SDSU has been swept five times this season, including in both conference matches last week.
• Fresno State will begin the week with a 9-5 overall record and 1-0 in league play.
• The Bulldogs opened Mountain West Conference action last week with a sweep against San Diego State.
• Fresno State began the season 7-1, including winning its first four matches. The Bulldogs are 2-4 since.
• Fresno State will face Wyoming on Thursday night before playing Colorado State on Saturday afternoon.
 
LOOKING AHEAD
• Following the road trip the Rams will split time on the road and in Moby Arena.
• CSU will head to Wyoming for a Boarder War battle on Tuesday night starting at 6:30 p.m.
• Colorado State will then host Air Force on Friday night at 7 p.m. MT in Moby Arena.
• After the free weekend, Colorado State will host Boise State on Utah State, Oct. 11 and 13, respectfully.
 
RAMS AT A GLANCE
• Colorado State will continue its Mountain West Conference schedule with an 10-4 overall record and 2-0 in conference play after posting a 2-0 mark last week in the opener.
• The Rams defeated Nevada, 3-1 in the MW opener before returning to Fort Collins and sweeping San Jose State.
• Breana Runnels tallied her fourth double-double of the season against the Wolf Pack, as she recorded 18 kills and 10 digs.
• Breana Runnels finished the week with 32 kills and a 4.57 kill/set average, while also hitting .338.
• Breana Runnels has reached double-figure kills in every match except for against Michigan and UNC Wilmington.
• Paulina Hougaard-Jensen started league play with a team-best 10 blocks and a 1.43 block/set average, including a solo block.
