Football team to hold walk-on informational meeting Feb. 4

Program has long history of providing opportunities for non-scholarship student-athletes
FORT COLLINS, Colo. -- The Colorado State football program is looking to add current students to the program as walk-ons.
An informational meeting for students interested in walking on will be held Monday, February 4, 2019, at 3 p.m. The meeting will be held at Canvas stadium, and students can enter via the northwest entrance next to the Ram Zone store.
Prospective walk-ons must meet the following requirements:
- Have graduated high school in the last 5 years
- Currently enrolled full-time at CSU
- Hold a minimum institutional GPA of 2.30
- No classes scheduled between 2-6 p.m. Mon.-Fri.
All students interested in pursuing this opportunity must bring the following items to the informational meeting:
- Copy of insurance card
- Copy of unofficial transcript
- Physical, including sickle-cell screening
More information regarding requirements and the actual tryout date will be shared at the meeting on Feb. 4.
