Â

Cliffe won at No. 3, defeating Celia Morel, 7-5, 6-2. Luetschwager finished off the team victory with her 6-1, 7-5 win over Emilia Occhipinti at No. 1. IN THEIR WORDS
Head coach Jarod Camerota
On winning the match and comparing to Nevada (who defeated GCU 4-3 earlier this season)
"Every match is different so it's hard to compare with Nevada. But we know we're a very good team this year, players one through eight. GCU really tested our ability to compete. It was a great first outdoor match. Now we need to get some rest and then start preparing for our trip to Las Vegas."
Â
NOTES
UP NEXT
The Rams will head next weekend to Las Vegas for three dual matches, playing UC Riverside and New Mexico State on Saturday before opening Mountain West play against UNLV on Sunday.
