Rams will complete 15-practice spring period with Thursday evening scrimmage open to the public

FORT COLLINS, Colo.—The Colorado State Rams' final scrimmage of spring football will be open to the public with free admission on Thursday, March 14, at Canvas Stadium. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m. when the team takes the field for warmups and the scrimmage will begin at 5:15.

The scrimmage will last approximately two hours, and players will sign autographs for fans afterwards on the field.

Fans may park in any of the following campus parking lots for free after 4 p.m. on March 14:
  • Lot #195: Moby Arena
  • Lot #240: Canvas Stadium
  • Lot #310: Lory Student Center
  • Lot #412: Hartshorn
  • Lot #425: Morgan Library
Parking in the residence hall lots is not permitted.

Concessions stands on the west concourse will be open for food and beer sales, and the Ram Zone store on Pitkin Street will have extended hours until 7:30 p.m.

The Clear Bag Policy will be in effect for the scrimmage. In the event of inclement weather, the scrimmage will be moved to the Indoor Practice Facility, which would not allow for public attendance. If a change is necessary, CSU Athletics will communicate that information to fans as quickly as possible.

Head Coach Mike Bobo leads the Rams in his fifth season at the helm. CSU began spring practices on Feb. 14. The spring scrimmage on March 14 will be the 15th and final practice of the spring period. The team will resume the offseason strength and conditioning program after spring break, on March 25.
