Jefferson joins Rams’ football program from Arkansas

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Jessica Jefferson is the Rams' new director of recruiting, head football coach Mike Bobo announced Tuesday. Jefferson brings experience working with both collegiate and professional football organizations, most recently serving as director of recruiting operations for the Arkansas Razorbacks' football program.

In her role at Colorado State, Jefferson is responsible for handling all visits by prospective student-athletes—official and unofficial—and organizing the coaching staff's communication with recruits.

Jefferson spent the past year at Arkansas where she was responsible for all logistics associated with official and unofficial visits by prospective student-athletes and their guests, and directing and organizing all game-day recruiting efforts.

Prior to her one-year stint at Arkansas, Jefferson served one year at Baylor as executive assistant to head football coach Matt Rhule. Her previous football experience included two seasonal assistant roles in the NFL—with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers during the 2016 offseason and with the New York Jets during the 2015 season.

A 2015 graduate of Clemson University, Jefferson served as a student assistant in digital media recruiting and as an administrative recruiting assistant during her undergraduate years. She also interned with the NBA's Charlotte Hornets in the communications department. Jefferson received her bachelor's degree in history and communication studies from Clemson.
