Colorado State scored a pair of runs in the first to take an early lead. Nevada got on the board in the second frame, scoring its lone run on a solo home run.

The Rams continued to lead and added to their score throughout the game, adding runs in all but the sixth inning. CSU scored on home runs by Amber Nelson and Danni Klein, while a trio of doubles also scored assisted in scoring runs.
