When he scores, Dolphins win

If you're looking for patterns, here is one which may interest the Miami Dolphins brain trust

When Preston Williams catches a touchdown pass, Miami wins. Definitely something to consider.

For the second consecutive week, Williams was on the backend of a Ryan Fitzpatrick scoring toss, the most recent a 3-yarder. The Dolphins are now 3-3 on the year, and Williams has scored touchdowns in each.

He is up to 12 receptions this year, good for 213 yards (a 17.8 per-catch average), with five receptions of 20 yards or longer.

Next week, there will be a matchup of #NextLevelRams as the Las Vegas Raiders and Trent Sieg host Shaquil Barrett and Tampa Bay in a Sunday night matchup.

Shaquil Barrett – The outside linebacker started but was held without a tackle in the 38-10 victory over Green Bay.

Ty Sambrailo – He saw significant playing time at left tackle as the Titans improved to 5-0 on the year with a 42-36 overtime win over Houston.

Weston Richburg – San Francisco announced Monday the veteran snapper will miss the first 12 games due to offseason shoulder surgery which has set back his return to action. The 49ers posted a 24-16 victory over the Los Angeles Rams.

Trent Sieg – The Raiders had a bye week. They will face Tampa Bay at home in a Sunday night prime-time game.

Rashard Higgins – Targeted just twice in the game, he made his one catch count as his 13-yard scoring reception was the lone Cleveland offensive highlight in a 38-7 loss to Pittsburgh.

Michael Gallup – He was targeted six times, resulting in two catches for 23 yards in the Cowboys' 38-10 loss to the Cardinals.

Bisi Johnson – He was held without a reception as the Vikings fell 40-23 to Atlanta at home.

Preston Williams – He turned three targets into a pair of catches for 18 yards, including a 3-yarder for a touchdown as the Dolphins blanked the New York Jets 24-0.

Josh Watson – He was active for the Broncos in the 18-12 win over New England on the road.
