Hilbert Signs Pair on National Signing Day

Head Coach Tom Hilbert signed two players to join his squad in Fall 2020.
FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Colorado State head coach Tom Hilbert announced a pair of student-athletes to continue their careers at CSU following high school graduation.
Maddy McCormick | 6-0, OH | Crystal Lake, Illinois | Crystal Lake Central
Maddy is a four-year varsity letterwinner in volleyball playing for Lisa Brunstrum and Jason LeBlanc at CLC… She has earned All-Conference, All-Area First Team and AAU All-American Open honors during her prep years… In the classroom she was also named to the High Honor Roll… Plans to study health and exercise science… Parents are Sarah and Geoffrey Hansen… Has a younger brother Luke… Favorite athlete is Kris Bryant… Enjoys swimming, watching horror movies and Christmas time.

"I chose Colorado State because Fort Collins felt like home, there is so much to do, but it still has a small town feeling. I love being outdoors and there is no better place to be than in the mountains. I love that the volleyball team is like a family, is super competitive and has a legacy of success. CSU is my perfect fit."
Tom Hilbert on Maddy…
"Maddy is an athletic outside hitter with a great arm. She has also developed solid ball handling skills. She plays a Big role in club volleyball in her area and has developed into a great competitor as well. I'm excited to get her in a green and gold uniform."
Kate Yoshimoto | 5-2, DS/L | Honolulu, Hawaii | Punahou School
Played pre volleyball for coach Tanya Fuamatu-Anderson… Was named team MVP… Plans to study health and exercise sciences… Parents are Kimberley and Dean Yoshimoto… Has a younger brother Jonathan.
