From Assistant Coach Tori Ball
"Lauren is an incredibly athletic, quick, and savvy attacking player that will bring depth across our front three. She is a player that is constantly thinking outside the box on and off the ball to unlock the opposing back line."

Ali Yoshida | Midfielder/Forward

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"Ali is an attacking-oriented midfield/forward with the vision a tick above most.  She sees things differently and ahead of schedule in a game that requires speed of thought and decision making. Ironically, she has the same qualities as our current senior, Alyssa Yoshida (no relation), where you just can't wait to see what she will do next."

Izzy Wildermuth | Midfielder/Defender
Attended Chatfield Senior High School in Littleton, Colo…Junior season cancelled due to COVID-19…Helped the Chargers go 14-3-1 overall and 7-0-1 in league play in 2018-19 including a quarterfinals finish in the Class 5A State Tournament…Team finished ranked 12th in the state…Played a key part defensively in limiting one of 5A's top scorers during rival game against Columbine, leading to Chatfield's win that halted Columbine's 24-match win streak in the conference and gave CSHS the 5A Jeffco League title…Named First Team All-Conference as a sophomore…Earned Academic All-State as a sophomore…Plays club for Colorado Rapids 02/03G, recently listed as the No. 47th program nationally by SoccerWire.com…Previously also Colorado Rush U-16/17, U-15…In 2018-19 for Colorado Rush U-16, scored four goals in 14 games started…Has lots of Ram ties as mother, Emma, and aunts, Monica and Christina, attended Colorado State in addition to her brother, Charlie, who is a current student.

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"Izzy is a soccer player with an extremely high soccer IQ. When Ram fans get a look at her game you will understand. We have seen her play a lot as a center back for a high-level club but we hope to use her as a defensive midfielder as well. She can just flat out play the game well."

McKenna Lium | Midfielder
Attended West Ranch High School in Valencia, Calif…Plans to play HS soccer this year for the first time after playing exclusively club…Plays club for Real So Cal, recently named the 23rd-best soccer program nationally…For U-17 in 2019-20, she started 16 of 17 games played and scored three goals…For U-16 in 2018-19, she started 28 of 32 games played with 10 goals…For U-15 in 2017-18, she started 26 of 33 games with four goals…2013 LA Premier Player of the Year…Also ran the 400m on the track and field team for WRHS…Involved in Fellow Christian Athletes and Link Crew…Has other Ram ties as her brother, Dylan, is a junior at CSU.

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"McKenna came to the last camp we were able to have before the pandemic and really had an impact. Every playing opportunity at camp she had a distinct influence on the outcome of the affair. Cool on the dribble, with the ability to strike when called on, or to slip the perfect pass through gaps in opponent's defense. McKenna has an attacking mentality any team could put to use."

Sophia Pearlman | Defender/Midfielder
Attended Santa Margarita High School in Ladera Ranch, Calif…Plays club for LAFC Slammers, recently named the ninth-best soccer program nationally…As a junior at SMHS in 2019-20, played in 10 games, adding one goal and three assists for five points…Helped the Eagles go 15-3-2 overall record to win the league and a second round showing in CIF Southern Section of the state tournament…Named Trinity League First Team…Named Second Team All-CIF…Played in the SoCal Winter Classic Nike Tournament…As a sophomore, helped the Eagles go 15-5-3 with a quarterfinals finish…Captained the team as a freshman en route to a 15-6-5 record, CIF Finalist, and Regional Semifinalist finish…Three-time scholar-athlete honoree…Involved in Top Soccer, an organization where we spend the day with special needs kids, playing the sport of their dreams.

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"When you recruit, you get an immediate idea of where a player might fit into your program. Sophia, for me, had somewhere in the middle of the Rams defense feel. Very specific in that she is an extremely hard tackler of the ball and has the toughness necessary to compete in the Mountain West Conference."

Lizzie Woudenberg | Forward
Attended Xavier College Preparatory in Phoenix, Ariz…Played exclusively club for SC Del Sol, listed as the 83rd-best program in the nation…In 2019-20 for U-18/19 team, started all four games…In 2019-20 for U-17 team, scored three goals in 10 starts and 13 games played…In 2018-19 for U-16/17, started 12 of 19 games played with two goals after playing two games for the U16 team…Totaled 16 goals for the U15-17 teams in 2017-18…Played in the Silver Lakes College Showcase in 2016…Honors include National Team Roster – U14, ODP State Team and Academy Select Team.

From Assistant Coach Tori Ball
"Lizzie comes to us from a very good SC Del Sol team out of Phoenix, AZ where she was an impactful player. She is a smart, dynamic, and strong center forward that fits right into our style of play. Lizzie not only has the ability to score goals, but she is a player who has the awareness to pull defenders out of position in order open up space for others to run into."

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"When I asked Jules, who is coming from Florida, why CSU? She said she needed a change. We have that. A high energy defender that is hard to beat. Small in stature, yet quick and physically strong, she will be hard to beat in training and in games. She brings the appropriate edge to the game especially as a defender where miscues are magnified, probably unfairly in many cases, but it is part of the job."

Shayna Ross | Goalkeeper
Attended Torrey Pines High School in San Diego, Calif…Helped the Falcons to a 14-4-4 record during her sophomore season for second in league play at 6-2-2 and a quarterfinal finish in the playoffs…Played 21 games during sophomore season…Starting goal keeper by freshman and sophomore year, while not playing junior season…In 2017-18 freshman campaign, aided the team to a 16-2-6 overall record, a 5-1-4 league record for second place and a quarterfinal finish…Plays club for San Diego Surf Soccer Club (ECNL), a program that was recently ranked seventh nationally by SoccerWire.com…Previously also competed for 2019 Albion SC San Diego and Encinitas Express G2002…Won Blue's Cup, Manchester City Cup, and Butch Lee Memorial Tournament…At Blue's Cup, preserved shutouts through penalty kicks in semifinal and final…Named a Scholar Athlete as a sophomore and junior.

From Assistant Coach Joe Scachetti
"Shayna will come in and immediately enhance the quality of our goalkeeper core.  She has great size and athleticism that will make our already high-quality goalkeepers that much stronger. She is an excellent shot stopper and can control the 18-yard box on crosses.  In addition, her competitive mentality will help keep our program and culture heading in a positive direction."

Addie Lowrie | Defender/Forward
Attended Monarch HS in Louisville, Colo…Two-year varsity letter winner…Junior season cancelled due to COVID-19…Helped MHS to a 10-5-1 record as a sophomore with a first round appearance in the CHSAA 5A playoffs…Notched seven goals, four assists for 18 points – the second most on the team…Named MaxPreps Player of the Game twice during sophomore season and once as a freshman…Earned a varsity letter as a freshman and added four goals, one assist for nine points to the team's 7-4-1 overall record and state tournament appearance…Two-time All-Academic Team…Played with current Ram Liz Deitsch at Monarch along with nine other teammates playing collegiately…Received "No Place for Hate" award…Plays club for Real Colorado, recently named the fifth-best club program by SoccerWire.com…Named to 2019 Mountain Region ECNL roster…Played in the ECNL Phoenix Showcase…Real Colorado Cup Champion…Finished second in Colorado Champions League Fall of 2019…A part of the Science Honor Society and National Honor Society.

From Head Coach Bill Hempen
"Addie brings an energy to the field you just like being around.  She will run for days so we will let her run. We believe she can play anywhere on either flank which gives us a player capable and willing to do a lot of the dirty work both in defense and attack."
