Rams Finish Weekend with a Run-Rule Victory

Colorado State finished the Silicon Valley Classic with a six-inning victory over Canisius College.

Colorado State scored in every inning with the exception of the fifth. The Rams biggest inning was the fourth when they scored three runs on four hits. The CSU pitching staff was yet again effective, not allowing a multiple-hit inning in the short game.

NOTES
- Ashley Ruiz had a day at the plate posting a perfect 4-for-4 performance with a pair of RBI
- Corina Gamboa also had a good day in the dish recording three hits
- Haley Donaldson recorded her first homer of the season, an inside the park shot in the opening inning
- The Rams' 14 hits are the most so far this season
- Jessica Jarecki (2-6) earned the win after hurling a six-inning shutout with three strikeouts
