Rams Pick Up Third Dual Victory

Team remains in California on Sunday for matchup with Pomona-Pitzer
RIVERSIDE, Calif. – Officially, the Rams are on a winning streak.
Colorado State's women's tennis team earned the doubles point and won three matches in singles to post a 4-3 victory over UC Riverside, the Rams second dual win in a row. Sunday, they have a chance to make it three consecutive as they take on Pomona-PItzer (11 a.m. MT).
"It was a great team win today," CSU coach Jarod Camerota said. "We're playing with good energy, and everyone is competing. We had great wins and singles and doubles, and even our singles losses were three sets. That's a sign that we fight until the end, and we're looking forward to our match tomorrow."
The Rams' top doubles team of Stella Cliffe and Emily Luetschwager improved to 13-4 on the season with their 6-2 victory, with Priscilla Palermo playing with Anastasiia Kotsyuba for the first time at No. 2, also with a 6-2 win for the point.
Luetschwager won her first match at the No. 1 position in singles with a straight-sets win, and Palermo improved evened her record at No. 3 at 4-4 with her win in two sets, dropping just four games. The final point came from Kotsyuba, who won at No. 5 for her first win at the spot in single play.
