Higgins helps Browns snap postseason rut

A trio of #NextLevelRams have reached the NFL postseason, with Cleveland (Rashard Higgins) Tampa Bay (Shaq Barrett) and Tennessee (Ty Sambrailo) all playing this weekend in the Wild Card round.

All three squads posted 11-5 records on the season.

Tampa Bay is on the road at Washington, which posted a winning record to win the NFC East. Tennessee will host Baltimore, which has an identical record.

For the Browns, the playoffs will look a lot like this week, as they travel to play the Pittsburgh Steelers for a second week in a row. But it's a monumental game for the franchise, as it snapped the league's longest playoff dry spell, making the postseason for the first time since 2002.

Higgins played a big role, despite being inactive for five games. He was fourth on the team with 37 catches, but was second in receiving yards with 599 – a career best.

Shaquil Barrett – He missed the final game of the season as he was considered a high-risk, close-contact COVID1- case. Tampa Bay earned the No. 5 seed in the NFC playoffs after a 44-27 victory over Atlanta. In 15 games, he logged 57 tackles – one off his career best – with 11 tackles for loss and 8.0 sacks.

Ty Sambrailo – He missed the back half of the season with an injury as Tennessee claimed the No. 4 spot in the AFC for the playoffs.

Weston Richburg – San Francisco missed its veteran center all season as he sat out the campaign due to a pair of injuries.

Trent Sieg – The longsnapper helped Las Vegas finish the season with a 32-31 win over Denver.

Rashard Higgins – He turned three targets into a pair of catches for a team-leading 55 yards in a 24-22 win over Pittsburgh. Higgins played in 13 games, turning in his most productive season in six years as a pro with 599 yards. His 37 catches were two shy of his career best, and his four touchdowns matched his single-season best. Cleveland landed the No. 6 seed in the AFC bracket, the first postseason appearance for the team since 2002.

Michael Gallup – He had four receptions for 49 yards as Dallas exited the season with a 23-19 loss to the New York Giants. Playing in all 16 games this year, Gallup closed his third season with 59 catches for 843 yards and five touchdowns. He had 14 receptions of 20 yards or longer.

Bisi Johnson – He was not targeted in Minnesota's 37-35 win over Detroit. He played in all 16 games this season, starting three. He turned 19 targets into 14 catches, good for 189 yards.

Preston Williams – He missed the final seven games of the season after sustaining an injury, finishing the year with 18 catches on 35 targets, good for 288 yards and four touchdowns in eight games played.

Josh Watson – Back on the active roster, he posted one special teams tackle in Denver's 32-31 loss to Las Vegas. He appeared in nine games this season, posting five solo tackles.
