Colorado State will play seven games against four different opponents over the four days

Colorado State will continue its non-conference schedule, playing seven games this coming weekend, Feb. 25-28. The Rams will face four different teams over the four days at the Wildcat Invitational. All games will be streamed on FloSoftball or Pac-12 Arizona Stream.

LAST TIME OUT
CSU started its 2021 campaign last weekend at the Texas A&M Invitational. The Rams posted a 1-4 mark in the opener, suffering quiet bats the last three games as they totaled six hits and no runs.

Colorado State earned its first win of the season on Feb. 20 against Texas A&M, a 7-6 victory, and a win against an SEC school for the first time since 2017.

Redhawks: Seattle U has played a couple weekends worth of games, holding a 4-6 mark heading into the weekend. The Redhawks started the season at the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe, Arizona coming out winless. Seattle then played last week at Hillenbrand Stadium, picking up four wins. The Redhawks had a 9-15 record before the halt in 2020.

Wildcats: Arizona hosts in second weekend of action in as many as it holds a 5-0 mark after a perfect showing last week at its own Hillenbrand Invitational. The Wildcats rolled through games, winning four by run rule. Arizona is ranked No. 5 in the NFCA Coaches Poll and No. 4 in the USA Softball Poll. In 2020, the Wildcats had a 22-3 mark before play stopped.

Cougars: BYU carries a 5-4 record into the Wildcat Invitational playing a pair of weekends. The Cougars started the season with a 1-4 record after the Kajikawa Classic in Tempe Arizona and picked up a few wins last weekend at the St. George Classic in St. George, Utah. BYU had a 14-9 record in 2020 before the stoppage.

Beavers: Oregon State has a perfect 5-0 record heading to Arizona after a successful weekend at the Easton Invitational. The Beavers are receiving votes in both polls this week.
