Colorado State heads to Reno, Nev., for a three-game series at the Wolf Pack starting Saturday afternoon.

THIS WEEK

LAST TIME OUT
The Rams were back home last week, hosting conference leader Fresno State. Colorado State dropped all three contests to the Bulldogs, including a close second game in the doubleheader.

AGAINST THE WOLF PACK
The Rams hold a 19-13 overall record against Nevada, which also includes a 10-8 mark in Mountain West action. CSU last faced Nevada in 2019 in Reno and took the series and holds a two-game win streak against the Wolf Pack. The Rams dropped the first game by a run, before responding in the last two with dominating performances, which included a run-rule victory in game two.

OPPONENT SCOUT
Nevada will welcome Colorado State to Reno, sitting in third place in the Mountain West with a 15-10 overall record and a 9-3 mark in league play. The Wolf Pack have taken their last two series with a rubber match game in the finale, against Utah State and New Mexico. Nevada was originally supposed to open MW play at San Jose State, but were awarded victories due to the Spartans forfeit.

The Wolf Pack had a successful non-conference slate, posting a 9-7 record, which included a win against then-No. 2 Washington. Nevada was scheduled to face a tough Pac-12 group with Stanford, Cal, Oregon State and Oregon but were all canceled.

Nevada sit in the top-3 in the Mountain West in a handful of statistical categories, including runs, hits, RBI, slugging and on-base marks. The Wolf Pack is No. 9 in the country in double plays, averaging 0.52. They also are No. 50 in scoring and No. 64 in on-base percentage.
