Fout Earns Program’s First Academic All-America Honor

Olivia Fout named third team CSC Academic All-American
FORT COLLINS – Oliva Fout broke records for Colorado State soccer during the 2023 season and continues to add to her outstanding season. The sophomore earned the program's first Academic All-America honor as announced by the College Sports Communicators on Wednesday. She was named to the third team.
Fout set the program's record for goals in a season with 12 as she helped the Rams to the Mountain West Title game. It is the furthest the program had ever advanced in the Mountain West Tournament. While she was scoring goals and earning the Mountain West Newcomer of the Year award, she was also taking care of business in the classroom.
The Business Administration major holds a 4.0 GPA to help her earn the Academic All-America honor. Fout is the only Mountain West player to earn a spot on the Academic All-America team.
Colorado State soccer finished the 2023 season with a 12-6-4 record, qualifying for the Mountain West Tournament and advancing to the title game.
