Hagen lands her third in-state transfer

FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Kate Dunne returns home to Colorado after one year at Oklahoma State. Dunne is coming off her first college season where she played in 11 games and recorded an assist against West Virginia.

"I love Colorado and everything it has to offer," says Dunne, "Fort Collins is a great place to be!"

Dunne will be a second generation Ram, following in her father's footsteps. She brings her experience playing for the Real Colorado National team, where every team member went on to play college soccer for a Division I school.

Dunne, a Colorado Native, attended Regis Jesuit in Denver where she earned All-League honors in 2021 and 2022 and was an All-State honorable mention in 2021. The 5'9" defender looks to bolster the Rams' backend ahead of their 10th season.

"I really appreciate the culture and the environment that the coaches and girls are creating, and it is definitely something I am lucky to be a part of," says Dunne.

Off the pitch, the sophomore is majoring in marketing with a minor in psychology. She plans to work in public relations or human resources law.
