Rams Add Five Transfers for Spring 2024

The five newcomers joined Colorado State for the Spring 2024 semester.

 
FORT COLLINS – Replenishing the roster prior to spring camp, Colorado State has added five transfers for the upcoming season. Spring camp is slated to begin the final week of March and concludes on April 20 with the Green and Gold Spring Game at Canvas Stadium.
 
The Rams have added a pair of offensive linemen, with Chandler Brown arriving from Shepherd University and Alex Foster from Utah Tech. The secondary adds depth with the arrival of Isaiah Essissima from Nevada and Elias Larry from Navy. The final player to join the team is wideout Donovan Ollie, who started at Washington State before playing at Cincinnati last season.

Before Colorado State
  • Played at Shepherd for three seasons, appearing in 28 games
  • Two-time second-team All-PSAC East selection
  • Started his final 27 games at Shepherd University
  • Protected for a potent Shepherd offense which averaged better than 31 points per game in 2023
Personal/High School
  • Played for coach Sean Finnerty at Patriot high School
  • Three-year football letterman, earning All-District honors
  • Parents are Patrick Brown and Stacye Daise


Isaiah Essissima | 5-10 | 177 | DB | Houston, Texas | Nevada
Before Colorado State
  • Began career at Wake Forest, where he played two seasons
  • Appeared in 16 games at Wake
  • Played three seasons at Nevada
  • Appeared in 26 career games, starting 15 at corner
  • Named MW Defensive Player of the Week Aug. 29, 2022
  • Left the Wolf Pack after four games in 2023
  • In three seasons in Nevada, had 39 tackles, three interceptions and 11 passes defended
Personal/High School
  • A 3-star recruit out of Fort Bend Hightower High School
  • An All-District selection as a prep
  • Academic All-District as a prep
  • Team captain
  • Parents are Felix and Deeanne Essissima

 
Alex Foster | 6-5 | 278 | OL | Vernal, Utah | Salem Hills (Utah Tech)
Before Colorado State
  • Spent three seasons at Utah Tech. Played in 22 games, starting the final 17 at left tackle
  • Helped the offense be one of the most productive in the WAC
Personal/High School
  • A two-sport athlete at Salem Hills High School
  • Was first-team All-Region, second-team All-State


Elias Larry | 6-0 | 197 | DB | Palmdale, Calif. | Sierra Canyon (Navy)
Before Colorado State
  • Played three seasons at Navy
  • Played in seven games as a junior, finishing with 15 tackles and three pass breakups
  • Started 12 games overall in his career at Navy, all at cornerback
Personal/High School
  • Member of National Honor Society at Sierra Canyon High School
  • Parents are Lawrence and Julie Larry
  • His was a four-year letterwinner at USC (1995-98)

Prior to Colorado State
  • Played one year at Cincinnati, with two catches for 50 yards in 12 appearances
  • Spent four years at Washington State
  • Started 24 games with 69 catches for 792 yards and four scores
  • Had a two-touchdown outing vs. Colorado State in 2021
