Colorado State Announce Four Rams in 2025 Signing Class

FORT COLLINS – Head Coach Emily Kohan and the Colorado State Volleyball program announced the addition of four athletes to the 2025 recruiting class Wednesday afternoon on National Signing Day. Halle Jameson, Silvie Graetzer, Sofia Zabjek and Sydney Blackwill all join the Rams next fall.

Kohan on Jameson
"Halle is a complete 6-rotation outside hitter that possesses all of the skills in that dynamic position. She's a natural passer and defender, which is an incredible asset for her size. She's long and has a high contact point as an attacker and blocker. And she's extremely competitive, which elevates any team she's on."

Jameson on CSU
"I chose Colorado State because the minute I stepped on campus, I felt home. Every coach and girl accepted me into the CSU family right away. I couldn't wait to start my journey there."

"Silvie has grown immensely in the past year, both physically and in her development as a player. She is a dynamic middle blocker that can hit a slide with a lot of power and range, which is a huge asset to our offense that has always prioritized middle attacking. She's tough and a hard worker - we love athletes that continue to grow late in their careers knowing that they will keep that trajectory when they join our program."

Graetzer on CSU
"I chose CSU because it's the place that checked the most boxes and was somewhere I'd want to play volleyball at and attend school. When I went to campus I fell in love with the mountains and cute city of Fort Collins. For me, people really make the place and I felt so welcomed by the coaching staff and the girls and can tell they have a very strong team culture built. I can see myself playing in Moby Arena, and the support from fans and the community with such a strong volleyball program is hard to find. When I visited, I really knew in my gut that this was the place for me and I'm so, so excited for the next four years in Fort Collins!"

"Sofia is an incredible athlete with some natural gifts that can't be taught; she's got an elite arm, a very dynamic lateral mover and an easy jumper. She used to be a middle blocker, and I'm excited to watch her keep growing as an outside hitter because her potential is endless. She's passionate about the game and developing to be a national team player. I love continuing the tradition of exceptional Canadian Rams!"

All four Rams will join the program ahead of the 2025 fall season.
